New commercial manager for Stagecoach East Scotland

Scott Hall has been appointed as commercial manager at Stagecoach East Scotland which provides local bus services across Fife, Perth, Strathtay and into Edinburgh and Glasgow. It has more than 1,300 employees and a fleet of around 520 buses and coaches.

Hall joined the company in 2004 in the commercial department but moved to a driver role after three years. He was later promoted to supervisor and worked at both Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline depots, as well as being seconded to London for the Olympics in 2012. On his return Scott joined the staff development programme to complete his training as an assistant operations manager and most recently enjoyed roles as an AOM in Inverness and Dunfermline.

“I’m delighted to begin my new role and look forward to working closely with all other departments across East Scotland, using my operational experience to manage and maintain an effective network of services,” says Hall

He will be based at the Stagecoach East Scotland head office in his home town of Dunfermline.

The company has also ann-ounced the move of assistant operations manager Graeme Muir from Stagecoach’s St Andrews and Aberhill depots, to fill the vacancy at Dunfermline depot created by Scott’s promotion.

Muir has been an assistant operations manager with Stagecoach for 15 months and moves to Dunfermline after being involved in St Andrews depot’s achievement in being awarded the UK’s top national depot at the UK Bus Awards late last year.
